in this weeks r.l.e senior states that leeds rhinos have to go down as "the team of the decade" presumably after the hat-trick of g.f wins? maybe he was all giddy after the final? maybe he's took too many knocks to his bonce and has forgot that in the past decade that leeds have only won one c.c compared to the 5 that saints won in that decade...

We can't really argue with stuff like that whilst we're losing to them. They are clearly the best side of recent years. Although their total trophy countis smaller, winning 3 on the bounce is a fantastic achievement.



The only thing holding back their claims IMO is the lack of competition. Leeds are basically 1st out of 2 in Super League terms, whereas in the earlier years of SL it was far more even. Leeds' achievements would be worth more had Bradford, Wigan and Hull not all fallen off the planet.

He's just trying to up the bidding for his medal on ebay.

10 years is stretching things a bit IMHO



You HAVE been the best team over the PAST 5 years but as is natural things revolve and you are undoubtedly on the downturn ATM



Leeds have been steadily improving over the past 4-5 years and are now topdogs.



How long this will last is subject to many variables but ATMIT they could be dominant for another 5 years.

Hes right. They are the dominant force. 3 back to back titles is a massive achievement and outweighs our achievements.

where were hull in the early years of superleague you speak of?

The decade refers to 2000-2009 so they have won zero Challenge Cups.



They have won 4 Championships and we have won 3.



Everyone knows they don't count the Challenge Cup as a meaningful trophy because they don't win it so you can see why they come to that conclusion.

Leeds are "the team of the last 3 years"

I can understand why he said it becuase he is indeed thick, and also was still in euphoria mode when he made the comment I guess. So I can understand why he said it.
