For me, this is the best team we have played this season. They beat us down the middle and looked very good going forward. I thought we made some very poor choices tonight in attack and i dont think we respected the ball enough to win the game.



Dont think Mr Halibut had a great game either. But the best team won. A kick up the backside maybe? One bad point for me was picking Moa on the bench and only playing him for 10 mins. If he's fit then so be it, surely he is capable of more than 10 mins?



The game was there to be won tonight and we came up short. A great following from cas too. Best team won...

Says a lot about the league if they are the best we have faced....simple fact..we shouldnt be getting beat by them.

they aren't the best team in the league, but they are fast and we are still one of the slowest sides. Our packs improved, and we can take the big teams on (had little trouble against Catalan or Bradford) but teams with a fast backline are going to punish us.

Far more eager for the game than us as far as im concerned.

We didnt match there enthusiasm and deserved what we got.

Didn't see anything from cas which should have troubled us. We were just very poor in all facets of the game tonight. Kicking game was rubbish and far too many dropped balls

You dont think they were playing the ball quicker? beat us down the middle? looked far more threatening going forward?

Why not? We have a squad capable of challenging anyone this season and so far the results have shown that.



Just because we've had a rough time over the last few years doesn't mean we're push overs - ask Saints or Leeds.

Personally i thought Wigan played better against us, Cas did well and had a gameplan they stuck to. We scored more tries and just a poor night with the boot from Tickle cost us.

I said SHOULD have troubled us. A performance like we have seen in the first 5 games this season would have seen us take the 2 points

i agree also that is the worst we have played all season, but i dont want to sound a bitter loser as i dont think we deserved a win

first id like to say what a cracking game and atmosphere tonight.



i think this years league other than the saints/leeds and celtic/salford is the most competative league there has been in decades where any team can beat another.tonight you may well of been just off the pace and thats all it takes to lose a game and personally i thought despite the 4 tries to 3 we deserved our win.at the end of the game hull were void of ideas and looked a team out on their feet having done a lot of tackling for the last 15 minutes.



im sure its only a blip in your season and you can maintain your position near the top come the end of the year, hull is a club i admire and there have been some great ties over the years between our clubs with players and matches.
