Edwards was in a far better team, behind a far better pack with far better players outside him. Tomkins is doing extremely well behind an average pack, with average players outside him.



What would Tomkins have done in the team Edwards played in?



And why the hell are people even comparing them when Tomkins is only 20?

He will inevitably draw comparisons to Shaun. But it will be very hard to say who is the better player. Edwards was in a far more dominant team, with far more talented players around him.
