Wigan is rubbish for hotels for inbetween the town centre/JJB.
The Quality Inn across from Central Park is probably the nicest but is on the wrong side of the town centre. The Brocket, although pretty far out of the town centre is of a good location and is part of one of the most popular, decent pubs outside the centre.
There's a hotel being built on the Trencherfeild Mill site that will be of a good location for the town and JJB.
