so if Celtic Crusaders are no more and are now named Wrexham Crusaders would they qualify for a franchise in super league with the current set up? it was a dodgy franchise before when they were Celtic Crusaders

Same thing happened with the London Broncos they started under a new new name when they went t-ts up and also kept the points they had won under the old clubs name

When it happened with London they changed the rules so that it couldn't happen again. Seem to remember them saying the next time it happened the offending club would be relegated. But since we no longer have relegation from SL.......

I might be alone here, but does anyone else feel heartened to see the greatest game spreading as far that people are willing to set up, operate and be involved in RL clubs/websites when they haven't had the privelige of growing up with the game like we have?

To be honest I couldn't careless what happens with the franchise farce,its dieing a death anyway,live within our means and in the end they will have to come and ask the likes of leigh,widnes,halifax to join them as they will have destroyed themselves in the top flight

But that isn't why Wrexham have got involved. They have publicly stated they think it will help the football club. ie alot of the RL generated funds will find its way into the FC accounts.

Much like preston north end did with Lanc lynx,as soon as the money dried up...booted out back to chorley
