Why strange? why risk your first teamers (many of whom are carrying injuries anyway) for a reserve game at Whitehaven? its playing the system plenty do it.
We have a number of reserves injured from a small squad and have released a couple back to their clubs as well. Nothing sinister all in the rules.

Do you not think it's poor? Our fans and club want a franchise and we can't get a fit 17 players to go upto Whitehaven for a reserve team game, when our first team isn't even playing? Doesn't look good. |

No I don't think it's poor.
Halifax want a franchise and they havn't even got a reserve team.
I don't think us not playing this reserve game will be the cause of us not getting a franchise. I think it will be that we are too far north, or not far enough.  |
