it has been heard that castleford liked what they saw of penky during the challenge cup game and were rumoured to be afyer him. i wouldnt have thought he would go to you anyway.

But despite what someone else has posted about my post it is 100% true that I do sudoku puzzles, I was on the train to Atherton last night. AND a friend spotted me when I got to Atherton and game me a lift to my youngest daughters, house in Leigh.

Not really, as I'd a) have confidence in what my club could offer them and b) realise that other clubs can't make an approach for them yet anyroad.

i thought clubs could on the 1st of june or am i mistaken.

Quite right its open season now tbh Black is far too good to be playing outside SL imo.

My mistake, I thought it was 1st July (though only Long's transfer springs to mind of announcements so far).



Black is the best player outside of SL at the minute though and would be daft to commit himself to 'Fax at the minute.

although we cant compete with super league clubs in terms of what we can offer.



if there is no super league clubs come for him, then i cant see another club that he would want to join in national league.

I think you are being a bit harsh on him. Penky did after all come through the Halifax youth system and at this moment in time things are looking a little better for Fax than Leigh but thats not to say it wont change. Maybe he will play for Leigh one day and if he does i think you should embrace that instead of knocking him. Every club in rugby league has home born and bred players playing elsewhere (Grix x2, Fielden, Brock to name a few). We would all like to see our own players playing for our home towns but its not always possible.
