Being 4,500 miles away I wont make the game, but will be back in the UK for a couple of weeks at the end of August to catch 2 games minimum.



The Wife and kids left for the UK this morning for a month so I've got 15 coming round for the Semi Final on Saturday afternoon. I've got myself well organised with loads of beer and one small tube of Pringles (sour cream, no-one likes them so they last ages and more than engough to cater for 15).



Anyone else in any queer places (not John Inman queer, queer as in strange) for Saturday's game.

How do you get BBC in Qatar?



I'm in Dubai and I've got the Showtime satellite package but it's only got the crappy BBC channels such as Lifestyle and Prime.



Any ideas how I can get BBC1 out here... Is it on the internet in some form? I know that the BBC website won't let you view stuff if you're outside the UK.

Is their anywhere in Dubai to watch sky sports? I will be in Dubai next week and would like to watch the Wigan v Warrington Super league game if possible.

Its on Showtime, Showsports just the same as the Sky coverage.

Ah okay, didn't realise they showed BBC sporting events as well as Sky stuff.

Depends whereabouts you're staying in Dubai.



Lots of bars showing different sporting events but RL sometimes clashes with the big RU matches such as the tri-nations etc.



If you're close to original part of Dubai city try Aussie Legends Bar in Rydges Hotel, Satwa. If you're down at the Marina end of town try Nelson's bar at the Media Rotana Hotel in TECOM/Al Barsha. Or try the Irish Village if you're next to the airport.

You can watch the full match the following day on BBC Iplayer but if your abroad you need to pick a UK IP address from a proxy server website this will allow you to access the BBC website from all country's.



There is also a well known website that may stream the game live but as it's illegal you will need to PM me for the link as i can't post it on here.

Wedding at 1200, finish around 1300, few pics then off to the reception, watching the first half live then the sit down meal starts and we have the hotel Sky Plussing the second half. I am considering a small in ear communication device to keep up to date



Hopefully we are Catalan-out of sight by half time !!

none he is on holiday. No Internet Rugby league links for a month. There might be some other kind person that does one.



As for BBC1 in the middle east the only way you get to see that is if you get a UK proxy for the internet and view via the bbc internet or Zattoo.
