Not really into false rumours but ive heard from a fairly reliable person that Wire have agreed a deal for Leeds Lee Smith.

tbh he looked a real prospect last year and also in the world cup. I would be very impressed with his signing.

Will be a great loss if he switches codes, and a great signing for Wire if there's any truth at all in this rumour.

That would be a huge coup but I cannot understand why he would want to leave Leeds? I thought he was ambitious but money talks.

Lee Smith is the one I guessed from tache's exclusive.



He said he was already in Super League and a good player, we need an outside back to replace Gleeson and there isn't really anybody available, but as Smith is in talks with union he is obviously on the market. With the link with his former coach Tony Smith, it makes sense.

i would love to see this happen, think he would slot in nice, young, english, already proven he can do it, just a signing we need
