5/7 * 4/5 = 20/35 = 4/7 chance that Saints, Wigan and Leeds would all avoid each other using this draw system, I reckon.



RFL might be having a headscratch about how they can sort the draw so they are guaranteed at least one game that might grab the imagination. Or maybe Bulls-Crusaders will be a Sorcerer vs Apprentice top-of-the-table clash by May of next year.

I'd have made it 6/7 * 4/5 = 24/35, which is even more likely.

What a rubbish set of games. I know in some ways that's better but hardly going to grab too many neutrals to stay and watch games other than those including their own club.



Granted those there for the day / weekend will watch, but at the same time it's not going to get those on the fence likely to turn up.

Yeah, you're probably right. Was suspicious I'd ballsed it.

Noble always seems to manage to find a way to beat us, so its no given this one by any means.



But still, could be worse...

Wigan Vs Hudds will be a fiery encounter, all the ex Wiganers at Hudds and all.



It will be the battle of the midgets when Luke Robinson gets to exact revenge on his eventual successor for the title of over-hyped English half back. There will be another battle of midgets when Bulls off season target Sam Obst comes to grips with Burrows of Leeds as well! Fans of small player on small player action will not be disappointed.



HKR Saints will be a tight affair as well.



A bit worried about the Crusaders with Noble in charge he knows all our plays!

he may have known all deacons plays but seeing as we've now changed both halves I dont think thats such a big concern as it has been the last couple of years.

I think every opposition back and coach knew this for more than a few years, the occaisional miskick could cause havock more to us than the opposition.

There's not one game that excites me. What a waste.

Yeah, Crusaders are an easy tie and we're bound to beat them. Just like we did both times last year.
