Still has it, you need Gidley's skills and defence in the side as good centres are very rare but he does add to our problem of no pace. It's not like Gardner is blistering to compensate. Add in no recognised centre on the other side and Meli and you see the problem. Is Soliola quick and athletic? I hope to god he is.

Jamie lyon isn't a world beater, he may have made breaks down his side, but there would be no one in support, like yesterday!!

At the start of the season we were giving him good early ball and he was running in the tries almost every time we got down our opponents end. He has been quiet as a result of that good early ball drying up for whatever reason IMO

I think Gidley has had a solid season, still the best centre in the league by a mile.

Stick him with Meli and let them go go go... who cares about left and right handed/footed winger/centres, jsut get em a gig together and let them rip it up.

gidley is still in Saint's top six players , theres at least five others worse than him
