| Emmitt was good when he was on the field. Right now he is on a par with Bryn I would say.
Eastmond had a spell in field, looked lively, but we need him at first receiver.
Wheeler was solid out on the wing, didn't get as much ball as I would have liked him to get.

| One thing i did notice is that quins showed alot of respect for wheeler, for example, in the first half we were on or near their line about 15 in from pop side. Quins put 4 defenders on the blindside where only wheeler and i think it was gilly at the time where on so 4 on 2, this left the whole other side of the pitch stretched. Nothing came of it but they did seem to be watching him alot, which shows he must be doing something right.
Eastmond (and saints) desperately need eastmond to play at very least a full game at 7, to see what he's made of.
Emmit, IMO did very well for a 20yr old prop

| Eastmond sidestepped some tackles during the match and also came out of his line - I'm still not convinced about him defensively - but he also made some good half breaks, caught really well and passed well, though to be fair Quins were on him quickly so he didn't really have much chance to shine.
Wheeler was fine again, worked like a trojan, but as has been said, Quins marked him well and so he wasn't able to move in the same way as in other matches.
Ashurst seemed fine.
I didn't really notice Emmit (except I knew he was on because his was one of just two clean shirts at the time!) but good on him for making his debut and I'm sure he did fine for his first time out.

That's a big call to say emmitt is on par with bryn!
How many times you seen emmitt play 1st team rugby?
Christ the was few on here sayin bryn should be in the England squad.
Now ski says he on par with emmitt.

| Don,t think Emmitt did much wrong he did what job role he had to do.
Eastmond needs to start a game at Scrum Half on a more regular basis, thinks its unfair on the lad, he can,t get a run in the team.
Wheeler is already in the 1st choice 17 for me, like to see him at 6 with Pyrce playing his usual role but at loose forward like Sculthorpe use to play.

| Eastmond needs more game time. He has the skill levels and temperament to be in the side but he's not up to speed with our play and hasn't really clicked into the rythmn of the side. Wheels has slotted in seamlessly and continued with another solid display last night.

| Wheels was solid defensively , but he came up with a number of errors with ball in hand.
He dropped the ball on Saints 10 yard line when running it back that lead directly to Quins getting their first try. This was an unforced error as no one touched him.
He also dropped ball when attacking a kick to corner. He had done well to intersect the two Quins defenders but failed to take the actual crossfield kick.
Safe to say if Meli had made above errors he would have been slated.
Emmitt took the ball up but wasnt really physically mature enough to make any forward impression.
Arnold, was wasted on the wing receiving no running chances, and was easily handled when returning deep kicks.
He missed one tackle that lead to Quins going 30 yards downfield.
When at standoff he did no kicking but did move the ball quite well and was clearly unsettling the Quins defenders due to his threat to dart at the line then pass. I felt his presence in the line was what allowed Wellens to score.
Ahsurst usual solid performance.
