If it's nice just keep getting cans from the off licences around The Greyhound and stand around there. Usually a decent atmosphere there



Green Man after the game

Thats what we did last year, but went into the Green Man (we were staying there) pub garden. Fantastic!

Green man and The Torch.





Only 2 I can remember.





Both overpriced & get far too full.

I don't think I have ever been inside The Torch in 20 years of going down to Wembley, maybe once to use the loo, but they were kicking fans out from congregating in the car park (and the coppers won't let you stand on the pavement) last year.



I remember the year, for a GB international at Wembley, when the landlord of The Torch had the brainwave of a dual-pricing system for the rugby fans (pay more) and the few regulars (pay less). Some Halifax (?) fans got wind of this and announced to everyone in the pub that the rugby guys were being fleeced ... All the rugby fans walked out en-mass and blockaded the entrance, basically telling any RL fans what was going on and that it wouldn't be a good idea to give that pub any custom. Inside, for a good couple of hours, was the barman and about half a dozen regulars, whilst there were about three thousand fans outside. It must have been like The Alamo inside. That pub must have lost a small fortune that day ....

Are they they pubs just round the corder from the Wembley Stadium train station, loads of offies to get cans from? (tons of porta-loos dotted around as well) Think thats where we'll be heading.

Agree atmosphere around the greyhound is good, usually pubs are chocker get to offi and stack up on tinnies

The sports bar/cafe is prob nearest to wembley, its near McDonalds.



It's ok in there, they have a beer garden at the back with outside bar and tv you can watch which is always on skysports.



They also do a ok BBQ at the back of pub.



The only problem, the toilets look like those from the trainspotting film.

Can you drink in the stands at wembley?

Yes

Yep you sure can, you'll need a bank loan tho if you want a few beers in wembley
