I pointed out that the Hull FC academy team are above Rovers in the Valvoline Cup.
Maybe the mod who deleted it has the decency to explain why it was deleted?'"
My post has been deleted too . I thought this was a country with freedom of speach ?
I thought the mods on here drank larger not biter

The gripe is the senior players didn't step up and the youngsters did I'd have thought that's a reasonable gripe to go along with to me it's just showing what our team has been missing a lot this season and that's heart and commitment now the question is if sandercock had blooded these youngsters earlier would we have been in a better position than we are now who knows, but certainly the last few games certain players are not turning up for the club and it's fans.

I think most posters have agreed with what you've put, Seniors crud, juniors great.
Personally I don't think well make the 8, Bradford will oust us. Hopefully well battle hard for it though.

Bradford fully deserve to be in the 8; you can't blame the team and fans for the miss management of their finances. Our players don't deserve to be in the 8 simple as that. The players didn't earn the money; why should I hope we get it?

| It was a massive gamble to play Graeme Horne and it back-fired as the Bulls exploited his lack of mobility. Even then I still thought he out enthused the likes of Withers and O'hara, who IMO are showing 'end of season' syndrome.
Like I said the other day, Rovers aren't going to make play-off qualification easy! By my reckoning 2 wins will secure 8th but one win and a 'damage limitation' performance against Wigan might see us in. In fact, Rovers could kill two birds with one stone by beating Wigan lol!

| If he brought Craig Hall back into the side why didn't he put him in at stand off? He is far more creative and affective there. He did a great job covering there earlier on in the season.

| Lovegrove wasn't available to defend for him, ergo - Hall to centre.

| I can't understand why so many appear suprised that we lost last night. We were playing a team that really were 4 points ahead of us in the league, away from home and who are in their best form of the season (at home). With all our youngsters I would have been pretty amazed if we'd won.
It seems a lot on here call for youngsters to play and then moan when the performances dip which is sure to happen with so many in. This last night put more pressure and responsibility on the senior players. I saw plenty of effort from the whole team particularly in defence. Our problem was a one dimensional attack due to the amount of key players out and this was compounded when Murrell went off.
I personally think Sandercock's tactics were senible with what he had on the pitch which is why we got so close to them.
If we play with that many youngsters in the side in the next 3 matches (through choice or not) we will lose all 3 but them players will gain valuable experience...can't have it all ways.

I agree to a limited extent.
However I think fans tend to focus excessively on desire - overvaluing it in comparison with intelligence and ability, making their complaints seem more reasonable/justified and being reluctant to acknowledge that the team is genuinely pretty mediocre.
We are a bit short on passion and leadership, but it ain't the only reason we're struggling at the moment - I'm not even sure it is the single biggest problem.
tbf - 5 of the 6 games we've lost in the last 7 have been by 6 points or less. Even low on confidence and with a couple of really insipid performances we haven't been miles away.

Finally a sensible post,agree 100%.
Hopefully we could have Green,Mika and Rhys back for next week, which would give us a bit more experience in the side.

| Quote rlgear="rlgear"I can't believe some of the dross being spouted on here. Doesn't anyone else feel slightly miffed by the fact that a club can field a team of players that are being funded by the RFL? Anyone who believes they are not is seriously deluded. Meanwhile, on the other side of the coin, due to resources we field a team full of kids. I find it bizzare that they can let Bradford still field a full strength team when surely they should be trying to sell their assets to cover the costs, or at least play cheaper option players is academy lads. If I were a Wakey fan in particular, I would be a bit disgruntled at how this is panning out.
Can you imagine the uproar if we signed Greg Inglis and the RFL paid his wage?
I was surprised how close we kept it bearing in mind all of this.'"
i totally agree if you cant pay your wages sell a player not to bothered about the result we will still make the play offs for what its worth just glad he isplaying the young talent
