This was the big one for me, a real turning point that gave Wakefield belief going in at half time!
He only had to run it out with seconds left in the first half, but he knocked it on!
I said to my wife at the time that something like that can lose you a game, when I played (Winger) we used to have a toilet seat with a brass plate saying "Poo Head" (but the other word for poo!!!), this was given to the player who had made the biggest error in the game and he was made to wear it on the night out in which ever town we happened to be in (I had it twice!!), this was the error that effectively cost us the game (if we lost!) or just the funniest if we won!
I would have voted for Paea to get the toilet seat!
It’s not a bad thing knowing that people think you are at fault; nobody in my team wanted the toilet seat so we all made very few errors and had lots of success in the 90’s!'"
What a load of rubbish, Paeas had a good season, and had a pretty good game on Sunday, one error and you want to string him up haha |
