Totally agree with this. A good kicking game's vital when the weathers' bad, not sure any of the stand ins can provide this. Has Beharrell been playing at Gateshead? Is he in their 19 this week? Expecting another twist here, maybe Berarrell or Withers being brought in. Just hope Dobbo doesn't play if he's not right, heavy pitch & freezing weather isn't the time to test a dodgy hamstring.

I still don't get the reasoning behind naming players in a squad when the Head Coach KNOWS they have no chance of playing.Not only has CS done it but Gentle has done the same with Holdsworth and McDonnell.

Morgan did it with Dobson in his last year as well. The difference is that Morgan was saying he was fine when it had been leaked by a big gob at the club that he was out and it had become common knowledge on the back of it.

It made Morgan look at fool IMHO. At least CS is being honest over it unless he (Dobson) is fine and its a bluff the other way which I doubt.

You can withdraw and replace an injured player from the 19. So if there is a chance Dobson or Burns might make it, then it is sensible. If we included a fully fit beharrell and then both md and tb were fit enough to play, then we've got to ask Beharrell to put on a limp or say his tummy hurts.
