Can never understand this - why do Quins deserve such a high profile game over everyone else?

We want to come out firing because it's going to be a difficult fixture to start the season with, normally both clubs get to blow the cobwebs out before the easter showdown, this time around part of blowing the cobwebs out means facing each other competatively as early as possible

Lets get it right Mrs B, all of those things I said are correct but it still makes it a difficult fixture. I mean look what you managed to do to one of the grand finalists in the first game of last season. So we'll have to make sure it's not foggy

thing is though under morgan we have used the friendlies for fitness purposes only with a lot of player rotation and trying people out of position so allowing for that leigh would probably win and that would be no fun at all

Excellent point. I say give the cash to a club like Donny or York, screw the Leythers.

I agree, I'd like donny away with the first team this year after we took the kids last year, it'd be nice to go back with a few more fans at their place, failing that york, fev or halifax are all fun

if im honest about pre season, im not the biggest fan of playing fellow super league teams in warm up games, though i do understand that its not possible to always get the best possible tests by not doing so. im a fan of the trips to the national league clubs on a sunday afternoon, batley away last year was a top day out. id like to see rovers at halifax or dewsbury and possibly doncaster in pre season as well as a home game against an nrl side.....unlikely and not something that every club can do but it would be brilliant

Anyone have any ideas who we are looking at facing yet?
