Not really, some completely biased opinions that totally over look a game that we should have won.



Burns did not have Hull "on the run" in the first half, he twice kicked poorly one of which led to a Hull try, the other turned the ball over thirty meters further up the pitch than it should have, and, at a time we had Dave Hodgson in the bin.



Anyone who cannot see that Gareth Ellis is not a great player still is a myopic fool, always made yards today, runs the ball ina damaging fashion and is a stalwart in defence. Eden did beautifully skip past him at one point and we really missed him after that because he was really causing them problems.

By on the run that does not mean he didn't take some terrible options and executed his kicks very poorly. Not something he has done often. When he does kick he is usually very effective. He did however threaten to break there defence alot and we made plenty of half breaks down that channel in the first half. Especially when Yoeman was in the bin. That is what I was refering to.



Ellis has been a great player. Has he met those standards during his time at Hull? I don't think so. Not in the top 10 back rowers in the league this years, may be not top 20. His ball running has been little threat this year. Though he did appear to run a lot harder and a more often in the semi and quarter finals.

As people have said Gingerspice, I am a Rovers fan and have been for over 30 years. It's just that I have 2 eyes and not 1 like some people on here. I also like to think us Rovers fans have a good sense of morality and sportsmanship, hence my comments regarding young Lineham.
