Brains Party Popper 3.7% . Very nice - rich, malty with hints of spices.



They still had Ossett's Big Red Ale on too.

Had a lovely pint of Cotleigh Buzzard 4.8% in the Old Angel yesterday. A very nice winter warmer with chocolate and fruit flavours.

A night of Thorne Bitter in Thorne on Saturday . Prefer the Darleys Ghost myself , but still a good pint .

Im only a kid so I've just got into the real ale thing, let's be honest the stereotype is older folk with a beer gut! But I found that I don't get all the bloatedness that comes with drinking lager, rarely drink lager now.

I had a really nice one last night I thought but can't remember what it was called.

I'm guessing, judging by the amount of posts on here, that Wanderer fits my stereotype of a real ale drinker.
