That was the best game he has ever played in his career.

When he managed to catch the ball or when he kept hold of it he actually carried it up well. His tackling wasn't to bad either. He just doesn't look like a rough tough forward which is what we need to help bolster our tired pack.

a friend of mine is on the coaching staff at saints, he reckons that thompson is at best conference standard. he will add nothing to your pack and he does go hiding when it gets rough, marc jackson looked as though he terrified him last night. in fairness though i thought that from 60 minutes last night barrow looked out on their feet..
