What Souths are offering Inglis is irrelevent if they cant follow through with the offer. He will have to accept the best offer he can get.
Berro and Burnetts combined wage must be circa 200k per year. Hull could offer him that and then a Warrington style "retirement" pay off of 200k at the end of the season off the Cap. There is his 400k. |

He's not done badly to be fair.
I must admit I thought a few SL clubs would prick their ears up when the Souths move started to look decidedly rocky. I think Hull would be foolish to not even try and then miss out on such an opportunity brought about by such an unusual set of circumstances. However, the likelihood of it coming off... now, that's another story.
I did wonder if we might do a deal with Shane Richardson to keep Inglis warm for a year and then hand him back. |
