as i say though dont think gleeson could be bothered with the work involved going to a new club in such short space of time and its a long way to travel for him.

if this did happen though id be happy, not gleeson as a player but as competition for yeamo. the kid hasnt got back to his best (2006 he was awesome) and needs more competition to give him a boot up the !

It seems possible/likely that Raynor will be unavailable.

With Hall and Turner as cover and Jack Briscoe/Lynne for debuts seems reasonable.



The fact that off the pitch a Gleeson/Long combo would be anarchy would be a concern, mind.

At least Gleeson makes a change from Briers/Sculthorpe/Hape

Personally i like Gleeson, he is a great elusive runner of the ball. Briscoe remids me a little of him.





I like Gleeson even more after the Rovers game, Gollom said "Gleeson has done nowt, hes rubbish" Then Martin went and banged in 2 tries to put the shower from the East to bed. Its the sign of a good centre, Newlove did it all the time, did nothing for 70 mins, then went and won the game with 2 great, late tries.

Well i did post a bit ago on here when the "Tickle to Wire" story came out. I did say hes off to Wigan to replce Hock........

If as mooted he comes in for Tickle, it's a good move by the club.



Lets not forget Gleeson can also play at 6, leaving us with Tansey, Gleeson and Berrigan as cover for Horne and Long. Also will bring our back row options back into line because with Moa now signed Hame will be used in the back row along with Burnett, Radford and Manu.

Cant see this happening, havent we ahd this rumour before?



They havent even got a coach appointted so who is doing this deal?



Personally I think he is slightly overatted and not the player he use to be.



Is he worth a large ammount of the salary cap, I dont think so and we seem to be Ok in the centres.



The only benifit I could see would be to sign him and use Yeaman in the backrow.

i'd swap tickle for gleeson tomorrow. Yeaman to the back row with hall staying left centre. That will do nicely

Got enough backs now in Tansey, Calderwood, Yeaman, Hall, Raynor, T. Briscoe, Tuffour, J. Briscoe and maybe Lyne plus Turner and Whiting can fill in.



We need back up for Long. Just a young kid who can do the basics, kicking game etc. Don't need anyone who'll take up a large portion of the cap. Gregg McNally would of been ideal before he went to Huddersfield.

Not a fan of Gleeson at all. Brilliant one game, crap for the next ten.

It would be an upgrade on crap one game, crap the next game, crap the next game would it not







Seriously, signing Gleeson would be a poor move imo.

i'd be happy with that exchange since we have too many 2nd rowers and burnett would get more games and gleeson can play at 6. with glees and yeamo i'm sure hall and briscoe would get enough game time too, they're still progressing anyway



we've already got enough kickers. just hope gleeson and long don't end up in ladbrokes or in the pub
