No, it's not, as Sky want to maximise their viewing figures, so they pick the biggest games (within reason and balance over the season).
Why should FC v KR be televised, I see no reason at all. |

The clipper race is due to finish on the same day but the freedom festival isn't happening like last time.
Unless i've missed it there aren't any plans to close castle street so this in its self is an indication that the council don't expect as many people as last time. |

I don't claim to know the ins and outs of how sky decide their games but the derby must be a decent game viewing figures wise for them as they've shown the last 3 on the bounce |

As far as I know the plans for the finish haven't been confimred, predominantly because it's quite hard to predict when the race will actually finish, you may well be right that it wont be as many people as the start of the race. I can't see the club wanting to move it, probably haven't even discussed it with the Police. |

Yeah agree it's difficult to predict the end of the race and thats one of the reasons i'd be amazed if the police had decided the game couldn't be moved |

Saturdays better all round I only need 1 babysitter then and I dont have to rush home from work to get everything sorted. The club could do well getting a confirmation off sky one way or the other so people can make plans either way
