Defensively we were poor all night. We still give to many penalties away as well - 2 on the 5th ffs!
The gamebreaker was the try on half time. We were playing catch up from then on and Leeds confidence will have been high.

True but the team did well in the first half, yet Thorman kept letting the side down. The try on HT killed us but the second half shows that we don't have a great deal of mental strength or resolve when the chips are down.

| Still haven't made a decision yet, have had a pass since 96 and it would pain me to not renew. Ihad my doubts but renewed for this year on the basis of giving Agar ample time in the off season to sort the issues out (dire style of play etc), only for us to be in the same boat again drifting furher in the deep ocean that is meadiocracy (sp).

| I will be renewing my pass regardless and would do so whatever.
Players, coaches, directors come and go as does form and success but Hull will always be my team.

| Anyone who stops going just because we aren't playing well isn't a fan that we want at the club anyway. I'd rather have a hardcore support of 6,000 who will follow the club through thick and thin than 15,000 boo boys.
In any kind of weather my ar5e.

Sad to admit but me and the wife feel exactly the same.

I really don't understand why this is. I started watching in the Sharks era. We were garbage at times but I still felt like the players gave it a go and I was entertained and enjoyed going. Nowadays I endure the game rather than enjoy, yet if I feel like stopping going until the board change things, or even in the hope that enough fellow fans will do the same to force the board to act, I'm not a good enough fan?
Apparently, to be a 'proper fan' I have to part with substantial money to do something I don't enjoy and receive nothing in return. Can anyone give me a good reason/explanation why this should be?
I can tolerate many shortcomings in the team, be it players who aren't quite good enough but make up for it in effort, having a lack of the necessary resources to make improvements, even being shafted by forces genuinely out of the club's control. What I am growing tired of though is the club being one of the best positioned in almost every aspect but failing to capitalise by doing things in a half-ar$ed way.

That is the exact reason our club will go nowhere - people happy to settle for mediocrity. To be fair it's not just the club, but Hull as a whole!!! Until this changes, we will never be anything other than a mid-table wonnabe club.

And an even worse team than we have now.

Absolutely my view. In any kind of weather does have it's limits, we're not fooking stupid. I'll support the team that gives its all (and will be there in black and white when the likes of Rule etc are gone) but until the behind the scenes team changes many people will not be happy to follow the club. It all comes down from Hetherington, zero personality in the club from top to bottom.
We have the best stadium in Super League and a fan base that other clubs would envy. The potential for Hull FC is huge, yet we settle for mediocrity while the directors sip champers in the boardroom.

Turning up for games is not settling for mediocrity. Things have to change on and off the pitch - and fast - but don't knock people for loyalty.

You mean blind loyalty?
If we were cash strapped and put on that display week in week out, there would not be an issue. But the fact that we are apparently a club going places and off the field , but showing inept performances on it, just doesn't cut it for me. I've been a ticket holder for Hull for 20+ years, but have never felt this dejected with my club. Mediocre isn't even the word, we are damned right $hit!
