He's talking in his usual cliches and completely missing the point just as Fitzgibbon , O'meley and Horne are. They talk about our frustration because they're not winning. My frustration , disappointment , boredom , disaffectedness etc arise because of the absolute e that Agar's team delivers week in week out. Wanting our team to play a bit better is hardly a Bennetesque comment and will inspire no one.

Didn't take long to mention the pre season excuse.

Depends what he's talking about TBH. If it's the disruption from the snow then he can't be held responsible, but I wouldn't have thought that would have much impact if any. If it's the losses of Berro and Tansey then again he's not responsible but disruption to the team should have been minimal if properly managed.

I do think on one point he is slightly off. He says that he realises the fans want to see us winning, but from most I speak to and plenty on here, it's at least as much about performances as results now. It would be much easier to stomach seeing us lose a few games with performances that still suggested we are capable of being genuine contenders than the mediocre tripe we tend to see every week which will consistently see us just inside the playoff positions but knocked out early doors.



It's the fact that I no longer derive any enjoyment from anything related to Hull FC that I find most upsetting. It feels like I've had a hobby that gives me pleasure taken away from me.
