My thoughts as well,we pay good money to see the club buy the best.It's false economy buying cheap stop gap players.This season is a fine example,from being unbeatable to being a laughing stock in no time.Ordinary players can't change a game when things are going wrong,good players can.Surely even our board can see we need a good scrum half,have done for the last few years but while we are run by these lot i can't see much changing.Every time we get near the top we slip back again because our board will not go that extra yard.Been through a lot with this club but i suppose with people running this club who don't live in the city we can't expect anything else.We had the chance to kick on from gates of 14000 to who knows what,would have repaid the cost of a top half back in no time  I see the other half of the Hetherington family never sells his team short,they always seem to have the best. |
