So here we go again Chase, Prince, Miller now we're after Hock?



Tickle looks certain to leave whether it be at the end of the season or before. For me Hock would be the best player we could get to bolster our pack to replace Tickle. A fantastic player. Many a player have had off the field issues he isn't the first & certainly won't be the last to do what he did. He learnt the hard way and has come back from it when he could have disappeared.



As for his discipline I love to see a player with a bit of mongrel in him & it can give other players in the side a real lift when the battle is tough and you have someone leading the charge. Wigan have done OK carrying what some people seem to be labelling as a liability & they also have another player in Lauaki who many felt is/was a liability. Rugby league is a tough sport. You need tough players & a balanced squad. Hock would add a great deal to our squad for sure.



However I'll take this rumour with a pinch of salt as I really can't see this one happening. One things for sure it's exciting times being an FC fan as the reality is if big name quality players are available we know we'll be at least making enquiries. We'll get some we'll miss out on some but it seems some people need a reality check. We are now linked with top players who 2/3 years ago we never would so enjoy it while you can.

For the right money there is no way any side in the league could turn their noses up at Hock. Yes he's a prat but when he's producing the goods on the field for your side it is all soon forgotten. Look at the way lots of you took a shine to McGoldrick, one of the biggest bell ends going!

Hock is world class and would make the starting 13 in almost every team on the planet simple as that, ok hes a hard nut and likes to swing hammers on ocassion however what a pack he would make AND he certainly fits that young, english and mobile brand PG spoke of, however I hope i am wrong but I have more chance of Rogering pippa middleton in Hammonds front window than GH coming to FC

He`s 30 next year, doesn`t quite fir in the `young` catagory

but hey at 30 he is hardly old and still looks in the top 3 forwards in the UK for me, hope he is fit for the world cup would love to see him rip into the aussies again

Hocks quality, if Hull get him hell be massive for you.

agreed, he is probably the only player in SL who would replace Manu with better quality IMO

Take him and use Galea to fill in the blanks when he gets a ban.



Hock is an old style RL player with modern day skills. They don't come along that often. Just a shame he's a meathead with it.

Do people really believe we will sign Hock?

As a person, no. But never say never

If he does leave Wigan and wants to stay over here, I think we have a very good chance yes.

I think we have a good chance in Hock.. Reasons being were in a position to offer Wigan a replacement in Tickle.
