I saw the Tansey incident on Boots N all and it was shocking, anyway he is banned now so i no longer feel the need to discuss the matter, he got what he deserved .

Ah the 5ft winger strikes again, you must have something wrong with your TV, first you think that Sharp is 5ft 4ins then you think that tackle was shocking!!! shocking???? clumsey, badly timed, awkward, unfortunate, yes I'll accept all of them, but shocking? You might be better off getting drunk (or a new TV) in future you might see things as they actually are.



Incidentally it was'nt a spear tackle!

I finally got the chance to see the tackle again and I'm still of the same opinion that it wasn't even a sending off. Tansey was trying to tackle the man fairly and his momentum flipped him up. You see far worse "spear tackles" all the time that generally just get put on report. Yes it ended up as a dangerous tackle but their was no intent and it was made worse by Radford becoming involved so why Tansey has picked up a 2 game ban is beyond me. Will be interesting to see if the same standards are applied to any genuine spear tackles for the rest of the season, I suspect not.

If there was nothing wrong with the tackle, it's interesting that after the game Agar stated that he was expecting a ban for Tansey and it will be even more interesting when Hull don't appeal against the ban. Get real, it was reckless.

Perhaps Agar just knows how things work with the RFL? Just because a club dont appeal it doesn't mean they agree with the decision.
