| Quote monkeyshoes="monkeyshoes"i get the impression his best position is 13 or 6. IMO he shouldnt need to play centre since our other players are surely superior. i would like to see turner to play 6 for a while or compete for 13 with washy. not fussed about rich horne until we see him back to his best...
if agar has any sense he would only consider washy, turner and then fitzy for 13. however in the tuner article he mentions radford which is very worrying indeed - you've got 3 x loose forwards (good ones too) at your disposal and you still consider radders!'"
He doesnt it the HDM that mentions Radford.
Radford should be a back at prop/backrow at best.

right you are, what a relief
i imagine whiting and turner will both be ready in the event of an injury to washy or rich horne. and tuffour for the outside backs.
seems like we have some much better competition for places than what we've had in past couple of years which will be good

| Quote Dave K.="Dave K."I think he has left for more than just money, in fact I would be suprised if Salford didnt offer him the same as Hull, as I couldn't see Hull offering him a lot, with the other players signed. I think he has moved to a club where he has more chance of winning something in the future and a new challenge.
I can Turner being squad player, who will get a few games at Hull when we have injuries.l'"
Rumour has it he's getting a very good wage now, dont get me wrong he is no duffer just is at a crutial time in his development and i feel he's gone 2 years too early like Myler.
He'll play/cover standoff as thats where he thinks he is best............

I spotted a video on youtube of him playing, I reckon hes ganna be a good signing for us, the lads got pace and can break through defense well.
Type in youtube "hull fc vs salford 2009" I think its the second video down called "Hull FC v Salford City Reds - Carnegie Challenge Cup Rnd 4 - April 5 2009"
I see him being another craig hall kinder player

We've now got three at Hull which is good.
I'd start with Washbrook, then Whiting, then Turner. I would have Turner as dircet back up for Horne at stand off. And fourth choice centre behind Yeaman, Hall and T. Briscoe.

Ratchford looks a great prospect. Great kicking game and would of been ideal for him to learn off Long.
