Here's my shot. Two uncertain. Pretty sure about the rest.

Kneeling R to L
Tommy Finn, Johnny Whiteley, Roy Francis, Tommy Harris, Ivor Watts(?) was appointed asst coach in October 1959, George Mathews, Holgate (?)
Pic must have been taken before the Championship play off against Trinity as Bateson was injured in a clash with Rocky Turner and had to miss the Cup Final the following weeks.

Brian Saville fairly certain is 4th from right, he reminds me of a young knocker
Sam Evans had his debut 26.09.59 only played 17 games so could well have been the big lad in the middle of the photo.
Deffo Nan Halafihi, debut was 09.01.60
My greatest Hull FC treasure is an original framed signed photo of the team from the late 50s

Third from left deffo Colin Cole 6'4", Colin Cooper was about 5'10" as I remember certainly no more than that. Tom Sutton was big and in his 30's when he joined from Rovers and the extreme left player fits that bill.
As far as extreme right front row is concerned my records show that these may fit the bill.
Holgate as stated, Brian Hambling (I don't think), Jim Lawson (quite possible) or Walters, a reserve hooker.
Somebody will know the answer. Bill Dalton?
