| England win for sure. Will do wonders for the game here and a great building block for the next world cup. ( Where Tansey will be the england fullback and Tom briscoe will be in the centre with houghton at hooker... look to the future...its rosey)

| What sort of a stupid question is that for crikes sake? I hope Peter Fox gets a double hat-trick, and Brisc gets the same. I shall be at Elland Road, wearing my FC shirt to show the colours, but singing and spporting ENGLAND.
Go to it Foxy & Brisc and make us sing........we'll cheer you on for England but come the Testimonial for Horney, well I'll be singing from a different songsheet then, but Sat I'll be all for anyone of the lads of St George. Tell all the team, you can do it , you've already beaten the Champions and you will take them over whichever ref they whinge to have.......shows how scared Timmy is of this England side, we're going to be the Champions, hows that BBC after your Rugby Union wallers lost out to the Oz last week and not a fraction of air time in comparison for the boys of RUGBY LEAGUE
......GRANNYFAN CINDY -I'm testing my voice out for Sat!!

| I can see where the OP is coming from, but if there are any people who feel like that, they won't be holding their hands up on this thread
England for me of course. I've not seen us win a series in my lifetime. I'm going to the game on Saturday and I'm optimistic.
I know what the guy meant earlier in the thread when he said he wouldn't be jumping for joy if Fox scored. There's definately a culture amongst RL fans, where pride in your club and bias towards your club becomes apparent when watching the national team.
For instance, if Tommy Briscoe scored the winning try I'd be loving it more than I would be if Fox scored it. It's not that I wouldn;t be happy if Fox scored it, because I would, just if Tommy scored it I'd feel the additional sense of pride that he's a player from my club.
It's alot different to football, where club bias completely takes a backseat.

| I would even be happy if Fox kicked the goals, as long as England win. But its a different story when he wears his club colours.
Im not the biggest fan of Westwood but in an England shirt you still cheer him on.
Come on England!!

| I, as most will, be supporting England regardless of who makes up the team. Although I do reserve the right to call anyone who makes a mistake a useless (red and white) bar steward. <-- Insert appropriate team affiliation into the brackets.

I've been to a few actually (before New Wembley was complete), and I didn't hear a thing. Even when watching in pubs I've bot come accross any animosity towards Engalnd players based on who they play for. Obviously people are bias towards players who play for their club.
I went to the Australia game at Wigan, completely different. Some Wigan fan was having a pop whenever James Graham got the ball and the guy sat next to me had a thing against Peacock.
