| Play Washy at 13 and give him the vice captaincy and make Fitz the captain. Allow Long to have a huge say in our attacking attitude and plays but give him no responsibility in terms of captaincy or goal kicking.

| Turner as our starting centre? Have you seen enough of him play to come to that conclusion?
Personally I think Craig Hall was excellent in the last half dozen games last season and deserves to start next season.
My main "advice" to Agar is to think long and hard about how he is going to use his pack to the most effect and that includes the impact from the bench. He needs to ask some really tough questions and come up with the right answers. For instance, is it really to the benefit of the team in terms of balance and impact to play Radford at 13? Or are you trying to come up with reasons just to get him in the team because of who he is? ATEOTD whilst loyalty etc is good the most important thing is how we perform and what we want to achieve as a club and if that means ruffling a few feathers then so be it.

Agree with you there. Players need to be in on merit, Agar will no doubt start with what he feels is his starting 13 +4 but the crunch will come when a player is not performing well, will he have the balls to drop them.

| Quote giddyupoldfella="giddyupoldfella"looking at your side which has no dowes, radford and briscoe in the 17, i dont think agar needs any advice from you.'" At least I offer an opinion. I would not exclude the people in 'my' side for Briscoe, Radford or Dowes. Briscoe was a hard choice, but I would not drop Raynor or calderwood from the start to make a place for him, but give him a chance due to infuries or form. As for Radford and Dowes, not my 1st choice at the mo.

| Quote hullbg="hullbg"There will be plenty of selection headaches at the beginning of the season but with our luck with injuries we should be down to a bare 17 by round 5.
Briscoe is still young and i would agree with going for a bit more experience at the beginning of the season.
I would like to see Whiting given a chance at loose man, i think he would add another dimension to the team in that position.'"
Can sympathise with the Whiting thought, but feel Washy is faster and more creative, so see Whiting as a 2nd row replacement.

| Think Turner is seen as a future 6 or 13 and will offer cover there next season.

Agree with alot of this, particularly the radford at 13, I can't believe anyone thinks he should play at 13, and if we're struggling at 13 (due to washy injury), playing radford there is the last option. He's not creative, he's a hard work merchant - love to know Agar's logic there, but fear it's as you suggest - when there's not a place in 2nd row, or prop (where his future lies for me, if at all, if Tickle, manu, Fitz et-al perform).

Not much between them in terms of speed, and Whiting is the cleverer player IMO.
