If Tickle goes....do we promote Burnett to starting line up,Buy another 2nd rower or push Fitz up and use Washbrook or Whiting?



Personally would use Whiting at 13 with Fitz moved to 2nd row....Whiting is suited to 13 play...reads game well,Tackles above his weight and has the Handling skills to make a great 13.

Agar likes to play a 3rd prop at 13 so if it's not Fitz it will be Radford.

For me, Washy is by far our best 13. Whiting i would see more as a 2nd rower or 6.

I'd have said the same about Washy last year. On this years performances however i think Whiting should get the nod at 13 ahead of him. Wont happen though.

Was thinking that when i typed it out....bloody wastye if you ask me,ok im from the old school of 13's...Knocker,Divorty,Miller,Pinner,Pearce..etc etc.......Just think a ball handling 13 is a huge asset to any team.

Agreed, think Whiting would really gives us an edge with him at 13 as he is such a smart player but as you say Agar for some reason prefers to play using 13 as a prop.

Would love to see Whiting have a go at 6 than Turner and Washy.....agree about 2nd row and leave Fitz at 13.

Based on what really though? Whiting has never played at 13 and Washy has only played there for about 15 minutes this season! And he made 3 breaks.

I would really like to see Whiting at 6 and Washy at 13. We could even play Horne at right centre!

as much as I like washy he doesn't suit agars system, might be better for him if he moves on.

Based on Whitings ability and his attributes. I think with Whiting in that middle channel as a ball player we would look smarter in attack and defence. I agree about Washy by the way and have been one of his biggest advocates, just think Whiting has the edge currently.

I just think that trying something new as opposed to something that has been proven to work in the past is a bit too much.

not me bud, thought he should have been cover there last season but not now, his move to second row should start as soon as the season finishes (training wise)
