Just shows how ridiculous and unbalanced the loop fixtures are, we're playing Wigan for the 2nd time in about 8 weeks but haven't even played Salford or Leeds yet. The sooner they do away with loop fixtures the better.
Or saints. It's like they paly the loop fixtures then start the season again
I think that is the case. So, our home games so far against Wigan & Leigh and our away games at Cats & Wire (this Sat) are the four loop games. Then the main season commences.
If we are to have the loop fixtures then I don't see why rounds 1-11 can't comprise everyone else playing each other once, rounds 12-22 are the reverse games with the four loop games at the back end of the year, with Magic fitted in where applicable.
I understand why we have the loop games, as the clubs need to have more than eleven homes games for income reasons, but they could undoubtedly be thought out a little better.
