| Got my tickets this morning, looking forward to a Saturday afternoon trip out to Cheshire, been a while since I was last there so looking forward to it.
Tough game, we will do well to come away with the spoils. I wasn't overly impressed with Warrington yesterday, thought they made heavy weather of dispatching what looks like a very average Saints outfit. But they have some big game players who can turn any game in an instant, they just don't seem to be quite clicking as a solid unit at the moment, maybe they're saving that for Wembley!!!!
If we go there with attitude and energy, continuing what we've witnessed from them so far, then I don't think too many of us on here will bag them, even if we lose. It would be a big bonus two points if we do steal it.
On the question of Pryce, I'm in two minds. Cust and Sezer had struck up a decent partnership in the first few games, and part of me thinks we should continue with that, put Pryce to full-back (giving him space to chime into the line, playing a heads-up game) until such time he has been fully integrated into the side (hopefully with a few weeks sessions behind him). Thought he looked a little like a fish out of water at half-back on Saturday, unsure where to go and what to do. The one big break he made, late first-half, was an off the cuff moment which nearly brought a spectacular reward.
On the other hand, as others have said, we brought Pryce in as a 6, Rapana at FB and Cust as interchange hooker/half, so maybe we should go with what we intended. I can see the argument for that as well. It's a good job it's JC making these calls and not me, I'd be tying myself in knots over this one!! At the very least, it gives us options to play with across the back division, even allowing for a re-jig mid game if JC feels he needs to inject a change somewhere. I can see Pryce playing both 1 & 6 over the coming weeks, especially if our usual injury woes continue to bite.
If we get anything out of the next 2/3 weeks, it'll be a nice bonus. We're doing ok so far, let's hope we continue to see progress. Onwards and upwards as we say!!

| Mr. Zucchini Head:
A 9/10 first half, 3/10 second. Very happy with the result but we do need to start playing for the full 80 if we are going to have a chance in games such as the next two.
I don't know where Pryce will end up long term, but at least for now I really like him at full back. It's obviously going to take time to really bed in and learn the calls and systems properly, so in the mean time I am happy to leave Cust and Sezer doing the creating and organising and allowing Pryce to just chime in as he sees fit. He looked very dangerous at times and his break in the second half was gold.
I've seen Rapana getting some stick, and some of it is deserved because he's making far too many unforced errors. But I think people underestimate just how much his enthusiasm and competitiveness rubs off on his team mates. He really is in into everything and it is infectious. It doesn't give him a free pass, he does need to tidy his game up, but you have to look at the good as well as the bad. His effort to force a goal line drop out in the second half sums him up. 70 odd minutes gone, playing right centre, and there he is to pounce on a loose ball and force a drop out under the sticks. No it didn't come to anything, but they are little extra efforts that Cartwright will love to see.
Ese'ese and Knight excellent, Litten took another step towards making the centre position his own, Hardaker looked at home in the second row. Plenty of good performances all over.
Cartwright needs to really stamp out the off the ball hits. Every single game we do one and often it results in a card. Needless indiscipline and it needs
stamping out asap.
we need a full back like Pryce who can create breaks from the back with pace.Hoy was signed to do this but was playing in a really poor team so we didnt see his potential I see Pryce as our long term 6 but this season it looks like he will now play full back

| Mrs Barista:
Massive shift from Hardaker again.
Really pleased to see Hardaker playing so well. A lot of stuff was said about his signing and he's proving people wrong.

| We've got a team to be proud of again.
Loving this group of players that Myler and Co has put together in a short space of time.
While winning the grand final is impossible to imagine for the fans, I'd wager that some of those senior players in our tesm fancy their chances.
They'll be thinking, this could be our last chance, and we're travelling well.

| Fantastic first half, dodgy 20 minutes second half but dug in again and controlled end of the game, great play by Hardaker at the end take last tackle in give them the ball on there own line. Daft by Ashworth could have cost us the game, no need for it soft penalty. Chamberlain and Hardaker outstanding, Cust phenomenal, Briscoe rolling back the years, for the moment leave Pryce 1, Cust 6 and Sezer 7. Knight best game. Asiata very very good, Litten fantastic touches. Rapana a couple of brain farts. Amir great again. I’d bring in Balmforth in for Moy and maybe Watts for Eseh on friday. Leyland failed HIA, means Litten has to play 80 at hooker that’s if they don’t rush Lewis back.
