With what the ref gave it should have been a try but he deffo stole the ball in a three man tackle...why he gave a knock on is anybodys guess..

There was two knock on's, first offence was KR

but the tv replay showed there was one knock on...

There wasn't mate. Locke regathered it on the floor cleanly after he'd knocked on. I'd have had no qualms if the ref would have deemed it a ball steal but he obviously didn't so it should have been play on.

How many did you expect them to get thrashed by then? 40 odd nil or something like that !

We'll both me and (more importantly) the ref felt Locke had knocked on in picking the ball up. The touch judge was also RIGHT there and didn't contradict the ref.



On the subject of dubious decisions, I'm not at all convinced Smith got the ball down for his first try given the number of defenders around/under him but it was right in front of the officials and they were happy with it, so it all evens out I guess?

i'm not convinced he got it down either but benefit of the doubt does go to the attacker.

Hicks is a garbage ref. Got the feeling he never had a clue what was going on all match.

HKR got a penalty in the first half after the HKR player had lost the ball but the ref said Wakefield had players in the ruck yet not one Wakefield player touched the player or the ball. Same situation in the second half with three HKR players behind the play the ball and Godinet knocks on, ref gives knock on...

A desperate error strewn game which you probably deserved to win.We were shocking and you were unlucky on a couple of occasions.A decent turn out from your fans and I would be sorry to see you go down,so good luck for your remaining matches and hope to see you all next season.

Once again we get a lot right, dominate the first half and hold our own in the 2nd and throw a match away that really we probably ought to have won. Silly errors...very frustrating. But I guess when the same things keep happening, now under a good coach who has undoubtedly improved us, then perhaps you just have to admit we ain't good enough. That said, I feel it is very possible we could win our last 3 games which might be enough for us to avoid the million pound match and stay up. The support at the away matches has been awesome and I would urge all Trinity fans to get down to BV and create that atmosphere V Widnes next week and, with the grit we showed today and a few less brain farts, we might just do Widnes!
