If you are referring to me, maybe you missed:

If you (or anybody else for that matter) think Collis has an effective offload game, then I can live with that. If you think that 1 lovely offload last night makes that true then again, I can live with that.



Personally, I wouldn't say that we have seen enough yet to suggest that Collis has an effective offload game - I hope he proves me wrong and he slips a few more of those for Foxy in the coming weeks.

Best player on the pitch by far yesterday and he should be in the exiles squad, as should Aiton and Tim Smith. Anybody that fully appreciates the games he has played in this season can recognise this.



He needs signing on a long term deal if Wakefield are going to continue to progress (from Agar's comments I think they will be working on that). Agar also needs to be signed up on a longer deal aswell.





We've got some good overseas players in Dean Collis, Ali Lauitiiti, Tim Smith, Paul Aiton and Justin Poore and they need to be retained.

Why

?

Just looked it up and we've got him for another 2 seasons anyway so if he stays fit he'll continue to get his plaudits week in and week out for Wakefield regardless of sceptics. He's only 27.



I admit last season he used to go missing but think that was something to do with injuries. This season he's been very good and a real handful for the opposition creating tries for Fox and Aiton yesterday.



We've got a good team we just need a bit more consistency and keep our defence tight.

Mainly due to the plentiful amount of tries he's created for Fox since he arrived. still if you want to ignore that thats up to you.



Your not one of those who thought Tim Smith was a terrible signing as well are you?

What makes you think I am ignoring the tries he has created for Foxy? I have noticed the space and time created by Collis for Fox on several occasions, I have noticed the significant contribution he makes to our attack and I have also noticed the fantastic service he has given Fox most weeks.

'But we have seen precious little of that sort of thing before'. Your line not mine. When to anybody watching its quite obvious we have seen it many times before as you have just admitted. Fox has scored nearly 30 tries in a season and a half, many of which have been created by Collis' flicks, offloads and passes. If anything he is creating more even more space this season as he is now fully fit and as such it is more apparent but he did it plenty last year as well.



As for Smith there was some bagging his signing last year, just wanted to check that you weren't one and knew something about the game!

I think you are taking the 'seen precious little of that sort of thing before' out of context - I am specifically referring to his offload game. For clarity, I will quote the post that seems to have got many wetting their collective knickers:







I thought it was fairly obvious I was referring to specifically "offloads". Not creating space. Not running great lines. Not drawing his man and passing. Not creating chances for Fox via his footwork. His offload game (that is to say passing in contact) isn't as good as the other aspects of his game, and despite a lovely pass lastnight to the winger I still don't think he has shown an effective offloading game.



And just for the avoidance of any doubt:

Solid in attack AND defence! Does not always set his winger free, but has done more this season. Deffo worth an extension for me! Best quality centre we have had for some time. If we don,t keep him I think there will be plenty of others that want to!
