Cant agree with that, he can certainly break a tackle and if he can just stop doing rash things he'll be effective for us

Well he's got the physical attributes so i hope he comes good, but for me we need more from a quota player than we are getting so far. We could have got a prop from the championship to do what he has up to press and used the quota spot on a more pivotal position.

I must have been watching a different game, other than his ludicrous kick and knock on, I thought he went well in both attack and defence. Drags in all kinds of defenders and with a decent offload game, I think he could be a real asset.
Agree that he does need to calm down a little though.

| Utterly teed off with that display. Wakey threw it away after leading 12-0 and then 18-10. Just cannot believe they've thrown a season's work away like that.
Making it worse was the fact I had 6/6 on a SL accumulator and just needed Trinity to win to go right through the card and collect decent winnings. I watched the second-half in dismay.
And what's Matty Wildie done wrong ? He might have supported some of the breaks that weren't converted.

I agree, thought Tautai played well. I don't expect a player to go 80 mins without one error. It's the ones who make several howlers a game and keep on losing us games that bother me

| Quote try scorer="try scorer"asa critic of reece lynne got to say he had a decent game took his try well in an allround better performance, danny cowling also showed good touches against the best natural centre on view giving a good display of that dying heart of leg tackling and with two options picked the right one to send foxy over as young inexperienced player he was prone to the odd mistake and unless he was injured suffered the matty wilde treatment of being quickly retired to the bench replaced firstly by Frankie then by washbrook wonder when hell get another chance. ive spokeh before about andy ralleigh and used the word blown to describe his performances well today only confirms to me what I thought try as he can he cant break a tackle 9 times out of 10 he looses the ball ,and his tackling last season one of his strenghs is now a big weakness, finally our fullback ,someone put on here that his defence was sound, what I saw was a showman going out of his way to impress the fans with his gestures and vocalities as if it was his collegues who needed the gee up and not him, he made one good tackle when addy broke a contest between the two slowest players on view but was left yards away when foster broke in an almost identical situation'"
I was going to write the same thing on Lyne, but I'm afraid he has a long way to go to convince me and wipe out some of the horror shows

| Quote wrencat1873="wrencat1873"The only thing about today was that, it followed the same pattern as so many other games this season, where we were competitive but not clinical.
Woefully lacking in attacking options.
Agar tried to change things around by putting Smith at six and whilst he scored an excellent individual try, we were still struggling and our last play options ware awful.
It's too late for this season but, I hope that Agar & co have a plan.'"
I think not. 2 seasons in now and there is no sign of any meaningful or lasting change. The end of last year was sadly a flash in the pan. Same patterns, same errors, same stupid selection and bench interchange choices...we were warned

| Quote Adam_Harrison9="Adam_Harrison9"I'm sick of referees giving penalties in fits and spurts to teams. It's like they think "oh, i've given wakefield 3 penalties in a row, i'll now give bradford 3 penalties". Is it a coincidence so many games end up with an almost even penalty count? I think it's definitely psychological.'"
Pretty much my assessment of his performace today too. Lacked consistency and lacked guts. Poor effort.

| For years we have signed Australians who come here with big reputations- and these guys don't perform. Are you seriously telling me that there isn't an English prop or second row able to do the same job as some of the Trinity imports? They take the money, then collapse into the first tackle and never break the line.
What's the problem- is flair coached out of these players?
Don't make me laugh, I'm too fed up from today's game to even raise an ironic smile. It's utterly dire, Lee Smith's try was excellent and that was the highlight of my otherwise rubbish afternoon.
Pass me the absinthe and a razor.

| So who were the overseas forwards who didn't perform today? Raleigh was poor, Poore was miles better.
