Jk starts with sam at hooker so drew dont have to do a load of work at the start of the game. some of you seem to think tht if we stood latu in the middle of the field at the start of the game he would some how do better, i personally think that if we are to get rid of any of the hookers it should be latu as he is being played as a loose forward. so instead of having two props, a hooker and a hooker who is playing at loose on the bench why dont we try three props and a hooker?
I can anticipate that some will say lets get rid of obst and play latu at hooker, for me latu is dangerous but mostly towards his own team when at hooker.
Im thinking we should free up the large sum of money we pay latu and buy either a great big animal of a prop, a ball handling loose forward who can play for more that 25-30 mins like latu does or a big old fashioned hooker like cunningham or even newton
what im trying to say is that although latu has a go he isnt a loose forward because he is too small and he isnt a hooker because of the stupid passes he gives and the general unpredictabillity which i agree confuses the opposition but also confuses our players as well
get rid of sicknote as well

Still don't think the defensive issues are down to us playing 3 hookers.
Just watched the tries on Sky and can't see Obst at fault in any.
JD Brough Wilkes all missed easy tackles
and like it was said earlier, Obst is doing other peoples work so is bound to come up in teh tackling stats, whether good or bad.

Agree with you here, Obsty seems to be going in for tackles on people who are twice size of him, whereas the bigger guys should be doing what Sam is doing.
Also, i didn't see people like drew,latu or rooney go close to line like Obst.
IMO, it seems to me that Grix got all the flack last month, and Obst got it a few times today and last game.
Instead of picking out Sam constantley, shouldn't we be looking at the whole team and seeing where they go wrong, i.e, missed tackles, penaltys, knock ons and hopefully come up with something to sort it out! |
