i'm not necessarily saying he is anyway, only that in the 3 years that have passed who knows? and that his performances in a wakey shirt were in no way disimilar to those of henderson, imo, and i have merely pointed out what i feel are a few contradictions .

It comes back to the wider point that for some on here, any criticism on here about a current player is heresy. I was no massive fan of Applecart, but if I'm trying to be objective, which I really do struggle to believe some on even attempt to be, Applecart is younger, hard working and bigger. Without subjecting them to rigourous athletic testing, the rest is guesswork as to who'd do best. Hendo isn't a bad squad player, but his main strength over the last season is that he's a trier, and he's not always been that. For that reason I think it is a fair argument to say that you could put an NL player in his place and not lose anything overall.

i not doubting hendo is a nice bloke and does try really hard in a trin shirt, for me tho to give him a 2 year contract was alittle strange tho i trust mr kears judgement in the matter, for me tho i neva been a big fan of him and do think we could have plucked someone from lower league that could do his job just as good if not better, but hey i only a supporter, i will let king john make the judgments n see what happens next season

the days of his reckless offloads on our line hasn't happened the season with Kevin so that says volumes that he has listened and learned for the coaching staff, for every hero we have a unsung that just get on with the work, he has become a one of our best grafters in the club and I'm pleased he has stayed
