Totally agree but the problem is as someone has said previously the price will be affected by Ted and his family members not having a wage anymore as no-one in their right mind is going to want them to remain at the club - this will affect what Ted wants for his shares/what a new owner would have to pay re contract notice periods to get rid of them.
The real worry is that there is no one who is interested enough to take it on after seeing the state the club is in after years of basil fawlty style management - we are really and truly fooked if that is the case |

If it was up to Kear we would be signing Thurston and Ingles and players of that ilk but we have to be realistick and realise that we don't have the money to compete financially for signings with many if any of the clubs in super league.

That's much higher than I would have thought, whichmakes this seasons efforts look much worse!! If anyone were to have asked me I would have said we were shy of £1M. Don't ask me what based on, just a best guess!!!!!!

Fantastic point because i imagine the combined wages of Cook, Rinaldi and Leeano are far lower the Brough's, Tronc's and Newton's. |
