Cas played with brains.



We don't have any.

The wind was a big factor with the choices for kicking. When the wind is like today, you have to limit your height of kicks (unfortunately we did that with our dg attempts instead!).



We were very much pinned back by Cas leaving us little option because of the wind and our field position. The kicks where we were going for advanced field position were actually very wise choices. The positioning of Cas's back three was very good, and their kick returns were well thought out, and their chase of their kicks was strong too which limited the effectiveness of our early attack returns.



It is easy to say our kicking game was poor, but we were forced into a situation by some clever Cas play and positioning.

Kicking game lead to our tries, Morrison and Lee. Can't be that bad can it?!!

Chase's error lead to Trinity's second try, and Orr probably felt he should've done better with the first. It was more the momentum Cas were able to build with poor kicks meaning they were starting their sets on the 30-40m mark rather than the 10m.

I think we had 3 decent kicks close to the line and 2 decent distance kicks in 90 minutes not a great average when you think about!

Today would have been ideal to put some high balls up in a swirling wind. Their back three were dropping back as early as the third tackle, why were we not exploiting this? I think it's easy to make excuses but the simple truth is our kicking game is ineffective and it was exactly the same against Crusaders.

For goodness sake forget BJ..the player who has given more inept performances in god knows how many seasons here at Wakey. Yes he could win us game is IF ...the sun was shining! IF the wind wasn't too cold!etc. I know which players I enjoy watching and they are the ones who give 100% every game. Yes the players we have do not have the skills of BJ but what good were his skills to the team when he didn't use them every other week. We needed players who would roll their sleeves up and get stuck in this year and this is what we have. BJ didn't fit into that category!.

I appreciate we are all entitled to an opinion, and exercising my right to that entitlement, with regards to the above post what utter b*ll*x.

Yeah no room for talented players at Wakey, we just want nice cheap triers.

I think lee is ok . Hyde is not at this level yet his kicks yesterday were appauling and have been all year apart from the 10min spell against cas away.
