That could have been an embarrasment, with a 3k crowd. Instead we had 5k Wakey supporters in the ground, a great atmosphere and lots of smiling faces at the end - who will be buzzing about the event and looking forward to the next game now.



I'm not a big fan of free tickets, but this one worked.



Now the Celtic game will be a little bit different!

Hope there is something similar planned for ther Celts game, be good to see a 5k plus crowd.

OK I will have a moan, for 75 minutes that was the single most boring game I have seen for ages, however the last 5 minutes was bloody awesome, and the Wakey fans leaving with 8 mins left on the clock missed the only decent period of the game.



I both love and hate endings like that, just not good for you, but exciting to say the least.

Got to agree. At times it was like watching Leeds United again!! Exciting last five minutes and great to see the team mob Danny right in front of us.

Did anyone see the Cas Fans that were at the Game? What were they doing tjhere? Saw them trying to cause an arguement outside the off licence... WTF!?!

I didn't mind the game. Maybe because it was so hot, but it was just nice to be out in the sunshine watching rugby league. I'm not into cricket, but I can see the attraction of sitting in the sun watching a piece of leather-bound cork being swatted around. That was the game for me yesterday. At no point was I bored. There was some good defence out there, and the result was never certain.



The only thing that surprised me was how unfit the Quins pack looked. I had it in my head that McDermott had got together a fit and well-drilled side, but all of those Quins forwards were carrying more fat than I expected (apart from Haggerty, who I expected to look like he did).

Saw a few of them talking to a kid on the pitch. They'll say they came for him but we all really know they love wakey!

All concessions to be allowed in for free.



Kids under 12 in for free with a paying adult.



Buy five tickets for the price of four.



Saturday afternoon stall on the precinct with games, prizes being free tickets for the match on Sunday.



Junior clubs invited on to the pitch as pre match entertainment with tickets given to the clubs to sell of which they earn a percentage of the price.



Oh, and have a word with him up stairs to ensure we get another 25˚C+ scorching hot day.
