Pratt, Hood and Griff all back in and Walmsley retains his place...(link won't post !!)
Think it is about time Griffin called it a day so lazy
Funnily enough, I think quietly he's been having a good season, especially after having doubts about how he ended last season, seemingly looking a bit past it, but that seems to have just been down to injuries. He's looked much more back to his usual self this year once he returned from injury. He makes good meters, good at backing up players with the ball, which is where he gets most of his tries; his defence is still solid as well. A few players were blowing in that first half, but we certainly pulled it together at halftime and showed what we're about as a team.
To say how much hype Leeds were getting on comms, especially as they'd only won one game against Wigan all season, who were not Salford, Hudds and Cas. They had a full side out though and the occasion being for Rob, seemed to give them a rocket up their asses that first half and we just had to hang on. Conversely, we've got so many of our starting pack missing, plus Trueman and players have been doing big minutes and playing well. I'm gutted but proud of the lads on the whole. The way they worked themselves back into the game, first going set for set and making bigger meters, getting into that armwrestle and then attacking on the back of their errors or mistakes. What we could have done for an extra 5 minutes when Leeds went down to 12 players.
