I did and it was very nice. Great location and the best thing is that it’s a kind of hotel/apartment hybrid which meant we had a large fridge for keeping lots of tinned beer cold.

I stayed in the Mecure again. Absolutely spot on and has never let us down. |

We've stayed in the Mercure and Kyriad in the past but they're both full this time so Dave Foti has got us in this new one. |

It's just around the corner from that carousel. About 90 seconds walk from the river where most of the boozing was done on Monday afternoon - although much much quieter than last time I went.
To be fair though, most of the hotels seem ok and they're all close to the centre as it's a fairly small place. But I would recommend the Citea. |

Oh, so just past the Damart building?
Yeah, it was extremely quiet. We stayed in Barcelona and drove up Monday morning and it was totally dead, but I suppose that's due to the Easter period. It's a shame for those who had visited the place for the first time as it's a totally different place and atmosphere when buzzing. |

Yes Damart - or Debenhams as I know it. If you think it was quiet on the Monday you should have been there on the Sunday! It was almost post-apocalyptic what with the lack of life and the terrible weather!!
