Dear god no, one drum in the hands of someone who knows what they're doing is great and helps generate the crowd noise. But more than one and they get beat out of rhythm and sound awful, not to mention some of the drums sound like someone smacking away at an empty pringles tube.

I'm almost on the 40 metre line (the North stand side of Halfway) I think 3 or 4 rows back, and I love that seat! But the one thing it does lack is atmosphere. There isn't much point in trying to get much going when the people around you aren't interested in singing, of course that's fine and completely their choice, just a little frustrating for those of us who prefer it. A dedicated "singing section" would allow like minded fans to congregate in the same place and try and generate even a little bit of atmosphere into the place. I think it would grow if we could get it started. |

Oi, those Old Farts happen to include my Grandad and my Gran's friends. 
He's not there for the next 2 games as he's off on a cruise in Norway, so trekking over to the games alone, means it'll be a lot quieter too. |

The DW, like most all-seater stadiums dampens down atmosphere. I keep repeating on these forums I would rather stand at dumps like Wakey or Cas than sit at the DW, until we can move around a ground as we like, we will not be able to produce the same atmosphere at home(?).

Now at home when the South has tried to get it going say 10 mins into a mediocre game its just not the same as it's not relevant IMO |

Some people prefer to sit in the East Stand inlcuding me. The solution is for South, East and West stands to sing. It just needs a nucleus in each stand. |
