TBF the Rovers prop forwards make no yards at all. A lot of their gainage comes from cooke and Dobsons boot. But they rely heavily on Galea, Murrell, Newton, Briscoe and Fox for there yards. |

If you check out the SL stats you may find that Wigan aren’t as bad as you think for meters gained. In fact we are doing ok across the board (if you believe the stats that is)

Our Forwards may not win every collision, but they do make good meters. In fact Stu and Prescott ran the ball in more that once in a set of 6 last night, on maybe four or five occasions at least.
We will do ok next week i think |

That is the key word consistency, we just haven't had it and lost games by small margin, especially at the start of the campaign. Two area that do concern me is our handling and our 2nd row. I just feel we dont make enough metre's from that position I might be proven wrong by stats but I just feel we could punch hole a little more, running at angles and attacking centre's and half backs in the defensive line. |

We lost a hell of a lot of go forward in the 2nd row through Hock, Joel isn't so far in that category of hole punching 2nd rowers. |
