He definitely needs to change his tackling technique otherwise he will be spending the majority of the season on the sidelines. First game back from suspension and he does that!

He is certanly not the first and i doubt he will be the last player that Wigan have signed from down under and who has caused some controversey with his style of play.



Im pretty sure i remember Ian Millward commenting on Craig Smith when he played for Wigan due to his running style and i think it was a Saints player who was injured because of it.



Just hope Lima and Wigan can sort it out soon.

It basically finished John Stankevitch's career.

Si-Thi Si-Thi got some stick when he signed as well.

John Wilkin will probably be indirectly on the Disciplinary Panel, Lima needs to sort himself out before he finishes someones career.

I didn't notice him doing it but saw the ref signal a Chicken Wing tackle straight away and another ban would seem probable.



I still hold the same view now as I did at the time and thats if Lima has been stupid enough to do it again he deserves another ban(and probably longer then the last one) and he'd have to work very hard to get back in the side once he's available . If he has done it again the guy must be a moron and somebody needs to have a word in his ear.

It looked pretty blatant from where we were, and that's the exact sentiments we uttered when he did it.



If found guilty, he'll be missing the next 2 or 3 I think.

If Fielden is back anytime soon(I have read rumours he's out for a good while though) and Lima does pick up a ban i'd struggle to find a spot in the side for him when he's back. I'm not saying he's not a good player but the side can't afford for him to keep picking up bans for the same thing and he can't afford to keep picking up bans because our props are playing very well.



Until he learns his lesson we can afford to not play him because we have plenty of quality options especially if Fielden doesn't require another op.



A spell in the u20's should sort it.

I was speaking with Lima before the WCC and got talking about his ban. He didn't even know what a chicken wing tackle was!

Coming from the Storm, yeah I'm sure he has no idea. It's not like it was ever spoken about there.
