Just out of curiosity, how many times have you seen Karl Pryce play this season?

How many times have you seen him play against Full-Timers?

And actually be any use.

He's played 4 first team games this season!



Since when after four games has a player been classed as not good enough? Add to that he’s had a year out maybe more out due to a serious injury it’s laughable people expect him to be a world beater.



There have been glimpses against Barrow, Salford and Catalan to suggest he’ll be a good player for us imo.



It’s infuriating how fickle some Wigan fans are! He’s a long term prospect FFS and you can’t judge anything after four games! Get a grip

Are we wigan fans the least impatient fans in sport ???. we all knew he was a long term project. as it happens he may have taken longer than expected due to his relapse at the beginging of last season, but he is ondoubtably a talent, wont be on a massive contract and does not take up a quota spot

I think you need to get off the lads back and give him time, just look at some of the players we have had who took a hell of a long time to be fully fit and shown some form, Twiggy springs to mind straight away, Pat is a more recent example of this.

All of his games at first team and reserve team bar the one at Wakefield on Saturday.

It's a tough call if you'd hand Pryce a new deal or not because even though he's been very poor so far the sheer size of the guy and his past try scoring record added to the fact that he's coming back from an 18month injury lay off just keeps that light in the back of your mind shining that he actually could be a very very good player for us.



I'd hate to think we let him go at the end of the year then in 12 months time he's ripping up trees for one of our rivals and scoring rafts of trys.

I've seen them all including the one on Saturday.



If I too had only seen his first team games, I can understand were the negative comments are coming from. But judging by some of his positive performances that I've seen him had in the reserves (granted against lesser opposition) then he certainly has potential.



It's very easy to disregard him and call him ''lazy'' and ''has no bottle'' based off a handful of first team games, but if you make the effort watch him in the reserves you see he is a decent player but needs to step it up.

Playing well in the reserves would again indicate a 'bottle' issue to me.



He looks very nervous(bodering physically scared) of getting hurt playing in the first team but maybe thats understandable after 18months away from the physical nature of the game.

He's a totally different character in the reserve side. He is slightly more cocky and tends to wind up the opposition but that also brings out more confidence and that's probably why he plays better.



He needs to bring a bit of the cockyness and confidence into the first team but it will take time and experience. Alot of people forget that he's only 22!
