| Quote sgtwilko="sgtwilko"[uit was pretty poor by your mob. and a good effort by a saints team that had no direction and looked clueless in attack. from defending champs in round one you would want a lot more on a pitch like that[/u.
but i said you would do the dulls by 30 to 40 today so lets see'"
Yeah, it was a shocking effort! (And I'm not talking about your trolling attempt, It is a trolling attempt surely!)
I mean, 16-0 up after 60+ mins with 4 first teamers missing, losing our main organising half back (Until Finch gets up and running) on the back of a 10/1 penalty count (Until we got another 1 in the last minute!) against a team that are bookies and many tipsters 2nd favourites!
Absolutely Shocking!
And if we don't beat the Bulls by 30 or 40 our season is all over I reckon!
I mean, it's not like we could be 18 points down against the same opposition with 18 mins to go after looking "Clueless and Disorganised" and get many dubious VR decisions and pinch a game and Claim to look Pretty Good is it?

I'm more worried about losing another great talent to RU.
I've looked at the OP again, and to be honest it was pretty clear that's what I meant.
So you're either looking for a fight with the above piece of idiocy, or you're just an idiot. Which is it? Pal.

Actually pal, they are related. Jamie Jones Buchanan, Ben Jones Bishop, Jodie Broughton, Brooke Broughton are all related.

Go on then, enlighten me.
How does my expressing concern that BJB is the sort of talent RU is looking for equate with me being worried about Leeds?
And make it good, because thus far on this thread you're coming over like a very petty troll.

| On the original question, yes, it is a worry. There are a number of good three-quarters who might make a name for themselves this year (Watkins, McGillvary, Jones-Bishop, Lawrence) and Jones-Bishop looks the most exciting of them. He certainly looks better than Chris Ashton did at a similar stage in his career. So RU will definitely be interested, hence this week's 4-year contract.
Although clearly the RU should actually recruit JJB's dad in a "long-term development" role.

| Quote Cruncher="Cruncher"What do we reckon?
Superb talent. Scores the sort of athletic and spectacular tries that RU people take note of. Youngish (22 - bear in mind that fellas have played for England RU at 48+), and appealingly innocent (in other words completely at the mercy of his scrote agent). After a year at Quins, he will have been spared the sort of cattish criticism that Eddie and Stevo delight in - in fact, they think he's totally ace. Which won't be lost on Stuey Barnes, who never needs to look any further than Super League on Sky for his next shedload of recommendations.
Four year contract at Leeds ... means nothing to the big money boys. Once he's in their sights, they'll get him. Hell, he even sounds like an RU player.
Once Eastmond's gone, will Jones-Bishop be the next? Sadly... I think so.
PS: for what it's worth, I so hope not. But I hoped that with Eastmond, Ashton, Thornley, Farrell, Ford, etc.'"

I wish I was as confident that contracts mean something as you are.
Either way, I wouldn't expect them to make an offer for him this week. I just think he's the kind of player they'll be looking at for the future.

Didn't Ashton leave for Union when he was 19? Ben Jones-Bishop is already 22.

Give me the multitude of examples with regards to RL to RU contract breaks? I really cant think of many at all
If anything i can give you many examples of ex RL players coming back to league before their contract is up!
As our chairman said we spend far too long talking about rugby union, when in rality there is little reason to do so
